Art II: Landscape Painting
Students in our Art II course have been working with acrylic paints on canvas to create Landscape Compositions. They have learned the process for the application of acrylics, working through their compositions from Background to Mid-ground, and lastly their Foreground.
This process has reinforced their understandings of the Elements of Art for Depth, Space, Texture, and Color (Tonal Values & Hue), as well as applying the Principles of Art; Movement, Balance, and Emphasis.
