Art II: "Modified" Blind-Contour Portraits
In order to draw more accurately from observation, we need to train our eyes to look more closely at every detail of our subject. Rather than looking at the paper we are drawing on, these "Modified" Blind Contour drawings force us to carefully observe our subject by only occasionally allowing us to look down at what we have drawn.
Once we have created our Blind Contour Self-Portraits, we chose Analogous Colors for areas in our image, and used their Complementary Colors to surround them.
