Slab Boxes
Students work with leather-hard clay slabs to create a box with a fitted lid. Students are shown how to create textural surfaces and choose a glaze which will emphasize the design or they can smooth the surface to add clay onto or use the surfaces as a blank canvas for their glaze applications.
